Privacy Policy

Origin Studio is a members-only app run by Origin (joinorigin.com). This page explains what we collect, especially when you connect Instagram.

Account data

Your email, first name, password (stored securely by our login provider) and your progress through the Studio.

Instagram data we read

Only if you choose to connect Instagram, through Meta's official Instagram API with Instagram Login (you log in with Instagram — no Facebook account or Page needed), we read:

• Your Instagram username, profile picture and follower count.
• Account insights: views and reach per day.
• Your posts and reels: caption, thumbnail link, date, likes, comments, views, reach, saves and shares.

We never post, message, follow, or change anything on your account. We don't copy or re-host your videos; we store links and thumbnails only.

Why

To show your growth, find your best-performing reels and help you spot ideas in your niche. We don't sell or share it.

How long we keep it

While your Instagram stays connected and you're a member. Your access token is stored on our servers only and is never sent to your browser. When you disconnect, the token is deleted immediately; if you tick "Also delete my Instagram data", your stats and history are deleted too.

How to delete it

Account → Instagram → Disconnect with "Also delete my Instagram data", or remove Origin Studio in Instagram → Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites (we then delete your Instagram data automatically). See Data deletion. Questions: support@joinorigin.com.
